  • SPIE produces the only full scale cargo hold model for the new transport aircraft of the French Army | SPIE

SPIE produces the only full scale cargo hold model for the new transport aircraft of the French Army... Produced by SPIE Sud Ouest (Industrial Mechanical Engineering Department in Nègrepelisse) in collaboration with STAT (Section Technique de l'Armée de Terre- Engineering Section of the French Army) on the request of the DGA (Direction Générale de l' Armement -Directorate General of Armaments), this novel, full-scale model recreates the environment of the French Army's new transport aircraft for military troops as faithfully as possible
  • SPIE builds a new turnkey methanisation plant in Morbihan | SPIE

This plant, on the site of a future pig farm, will generate electricity and recycle heat from gases produced by organic waste... Optimised recycling of energy produced... The gas will then be routed to a cogeneration engine producing electricity and heat
  • Official opening of the Savoie Lactée plant: SPIE Sud-Est places its HVAC expertise at the service of Beaufort producers union | SPIE

A single boiler was installed instead of the four 800- kW boilers that would theoretically have been required to produce the heat needed by the whole whey processing unit... This renewable energy is then used by a cogenerator to generate electricity that is sold to the EDF power grid and used to produce hot water
  • Belgium: SPIE helps for carrying offshore wind energy onto land | SPIE

Brussels, November 22nd 2017 --SPIE Belgium, a subsidiary of the SPIE group, the independent European leader in multi technical services in the areas of energy and communications, was tasked by Elia, Belgium's high voltage electricity transmission system operator, to produce two 380 kV high-voltage substations
  • Nuclear branch - Order for ventilation systems from FBFC Romans | SPIE

The plant at Romans produces uranium oxide powder and pellets, fuel nozzles, fuel rods and assemblies for pressurised water reactor power plants. This constitutes a new customer reference for our teams in the process ventilation field and represents no less than 6 000 hours for installation work and 600 hours for commissioning and industrial tests.* formerly Framatome ANP Contact SPIE SA
  • SPIE Sud-Est moves a cogeneration plant for Solvay | SPIE

Work to dismantle this cogeneration plant in Grenoble, producing 33 MW of thermal energy and 30 MW of electricity, was started on 28 July 2014 by C Tram Services and GMS teams from the Industries Division's mechanical engineering department. The plant is to be handed over at the Solvay site located in Saint Fons (Rhône) in mid- September
  • SPIE Ile-de-France Nord-Ouest breaks into the photovoltaic markets | SPIE

The first, to be installed on a new building, will produce 250 kVA (EDF's" yellow" tariff rating) and will be made up of 1 080 panels of 230 Wc each and 24 10 -kVA inverters. The second, on an existing building and producing 10 kVA (EDF's" blue" tariff rating), will comprise 45 230 -Wc panels and one 10 kVA inverter
  • Biomass energy: SPIE contributes to the new cogeneration plant of Chartres Métropole (Eure-et-Loir, France) | SPIE

The aim of the new plant is to produce new and sustainable energy from biomass- -specifically, from wood sourced from the recycling industries (75 % of class B wood, i.e. reclaimed wood treated with paint or varnish, and 25 % of wood chips). Most of the heat produced by its combustion will be injected into the district heating network
  • Saudi Aramco and Sumitomo Chemical consortium awarded SPIE with the commissioning and start-up services contract for Petro Rabigh II project (Saudi Arabia) | SPIE

It will produce an additional 30 million cubic feet a day of ethane, three million tons of naphtha and 300 000 tons of ethylene per year, which will be used as raw materials to produce a variety of petrochemical products. It began after Saudi Aramco and Sumitomo Chemical signed a Memorandum of Understanding for the feasibility study in April 2009. The total investment of the project is estimated about US$ 8 billion, and is expected to generate about 1 200 direct jobs
  • Commercial and residential buildings | SPIE

Similarly, for the new INPI head office in Courbevoie (France), the Group installed 1 100 m2 of photovoltaic panels to produce more energy than the building uses... SPIE notably installed heat and smoke ventilation systems, heated floors to control temperature, as well as solar panels to produce domestic hot water
