The aim of the new plant is to produce new and sustainable energy from biomass- specifically, from wood sourced from the recycling industries (75 % of class B wood, i.e. reclaimed wood treated with paint or varnish, and 25 % of wood chips). Most of the heat produced by its combustion will be injected into the district heating network
